İmza Bir Tost takes its name from “İmza: bir dost” - “Signed: a friend” in Turkish, with a small twist that turns a friend into a toast. We built the brand identity around this wordplay, approaching it like a personal message from someone you know.
We used expressive script lettering to give the logo the feel of a handwritten signature. The idea was to carry the warmth of the name into the way the brand speaks, from a first glance at the sign to a note on the packaging.
The conversation continues on the sandwich wraps. Little compliments and words of encouragement appear as notes from a friend, each signed “bir tost.” We gave each message its own lettering composition, mixing styles and sizes as the tone of the words changes.
We kept the main palette black and white, with kraft paper adding warmth to the packaging. This leaves room for the colour and texture of the food, while the lettering gives the brand a visible presence around it.
For the menus, we brought the handwritten details together with simple layouts and generous space for food photography. Close views of toasted bread, melted cheese and fillings put the focus on what’s being served, with the brand’s friendly voice continuing through the pages.
